I can remember being quite young and deciding I never wanted to wear a suit. Ever. I wanted a job that allowed me to be 'me' at every single step along the way. Sadly, this does suggest that one of the greatest decisions I've made in my life has been based around clothes, which makes me seem quite superficial. I never said I was smart. I don't claim these work to be ground-breakingly intelligent, either, but I hope they're slightly different from the norm, and maybe just a bit interesting. I suppose its as close to 'representational' art as I get. That doesn't make it better, or worse, just a different way for me to figure out what I'm trying to say, which I still don't know...and hope I never do... but at least I'm not wearing a suit.
