The final work for my involvement with Blind Faith: Contemporary Arts and Human Rights at GoMA, Glasgow, in 2007. I organised an event that looked at the city’s arts policies and power imbalances where, “with all the good intentions in the world, [the city council] is very removed from the real life situations of everyday people.” These images feature from a “kidnapping” some of the City Council Workers, and the Sectarian Advisory Board when they were unknowingly taken to a housing estate to discuss the flaws in the arts/culture programming and the ethical pitfalls of participatory practices.
